PBIM
-BRANCH CHURCHES POLICY STATEMENT

TO ESTABLISH STRONG, ACCOUNTABLE AND SELF-SUSTAINING BRANCH CHURCHES, FILLED WITH COMMITTED, SPIRIT FILLED CHRISTIANS WHO WILL IMPACT THEIR COMMUNITIES AND BUILD MORE BRANCHES FROM THEIR REGIONS”.
CHURCH PLANTING

  1. Goal Statement: one of the “sacred duties” of the Church is to preach the gospel to every creature and to expound the plan of salvation as taught in the scriptures. Christ has made salvation possible by providing it, the Church must make it actual by proclaiming it.”
  2. The PBIM will encourage the establishment of new church branches around the world including Ghana and Africa as country and continent of origin.

BRANCH ADMINISTRATION
Each PBIM church has the highest governing board called the Branch Church Council (BCC).

The Executive Church Council, (ECC) (Main office) shall satisfy itself of the following before agreeing to the recommendation of the Branch Church Council.
(a) That there is a sizeable population in the locality. (b) That the new branch is not located close to an existing PBIM Branch. (c) That the population in the location is likely to grow. (d) That there are sound Christian leadership or potential leadership in the locality to form the backbone of the new branch. (e) There is availability of suitable space for the new PBIM for church meetings. (f) Any other relevant information which will assist the Executive Church Council in making its decision.
The Executive Church Council may decide as follows :
(a) Approve the establishment of a new PBIM.
(b) Reject the proposal to establish a new PBIM.
(c) Defer the establishment of a new PBIM for further consideration.

    1. No new branch shall be established or accepted by the PBIM unless it complies with the above procedures.
    2. No application for consideration of a new PBIM will be accepted if the new group is a breakaway from an existing PBIM. All efforts shall be made to restore unity and reconciliation of the divided PBIM.
    3. The PBIM shall work closely with the Branch Church Councils to develop a global plan for evangelism, followed by church planting.
    4. The pastor of the New Branch must go through the prescribed PBIM church planting training.
