PRACTICAL COLLEGE

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,(Mt 28:19 NKJ). That is how you will know who Jesus is.

  1. MINISTERIAL TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

Overview (2 Tim. 2:15; Acts 17:11; Acts 18: 24-28; Ezra 7:9-11)
15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
- 2 Timothy 2:15

11 These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.
-
Acts 17:11 On the first day of the first month he began his journey from Babylon, and on the first day of the fifth month he came to Jerusalem, according to the good hand of his God upon him. 10 For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the Lord, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel.
-Ezra 7:9-11

The ministry is challenged by the dynamics and trends of the contemporary environment. This calls for a constant upgrading and increasing of knowledge and skills in modern trends for all Apostles, Elders, Pastors, Ministers Deacons and All Church Leaders.  To be more effective in today’s ministry is to engage in life-long learning processes, which are sharpened through prayer.  Each member in leadership must go through all the four classes the church has instituted. The classes are:
a. Alpha Course for beginners or new members
b. Practical One – Introduction to leadership
c. Practical Two – Directors and Team Leaders Course.
d. Practical Three – Ordination into ministry Course; Elders, Pastors, Ministers.
All these classes are directly under Practical College for leaders, taught at PBIM churches.

  1. MAIT AMBASSADORIAL BIBLE TRAINING COURSE

Training and developing Pastors at the Ambassadorial Bible Training Course is now vital as the set up continues. There will be Retreats and Seminars at the Institute through the Ambassadorial school of theology.
